'If the artist is a traveler on a plane, my artwork is the pilot. I may start the journey, but there is something else that moves and guides me to the final destination. It's this process that has inspired me to continue as an artist. I've grown to be a creative junkie of sorts, as there is nothing more satisfying than to create something out of nothing.'
Ken Walker, a Californian native, born and raised in the Silicon Valley, is a self-taught digital artist with a unique approach. Much more than the usual 'photo-manipulation' art of today, Ken uses various imagery, including digital brushes, to create works that closely mimic traditional paintings. Being a musician for years, Ken has infused music into much of his work.
Ken's work recently became a part of Zagg's artist library. The company prints artwork on industrial strength plastic coverings for cell phones, media players, and laptops: Ken Walker Artist Zagg Skins
